Share Your Belief Terms and Conditions 2026

1. Organiser

1.1 This “Share Your Belief” competition (“Competition”) is organised by Xapo Bank Limited, a company incorporated in Gibraltar with company number 111928 and principal place of business at 1/1 Grand Casemates Square, Gibraltar, GX11 1AA (“Xapo Bank”). 

2. Agreement to Terms 

2.1 By casting a vote and entering the Competition, you (“Participant”) confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). 

3. Eligibility 

3.1. Entry is open to individuals aged 18 years or over. 

3.2. No purchase or payment is required to participate. 

3.3. Employees, contractors, agents or affiliates of Xapo Bank, Aston Villa Football Club or their immediate family members are not eligible to enter. 

3.4. Each Participant may enter the prize draw once only. A submission will be blocked where the same combination of first name, last name and email address has already been recorded for this Competition. Automated or multiple entries will be void. 

4. Entry Period

4.1. Voting opens on 10 October, 2026 and closes at 23:59 GMT on 10 November, 2026 (“Entry Period”).

4.2. Votes received after the Entry Period, whether or not they were sent before that time, will be void, will not be counted and will not be entered into the prize draw.

4.3. Xapo Bank reserves the right to amend the Entry Period if necessary and will publish any such changes on the Competition webpage.

5. How to Vote 

5.1. Xapo Bank has pre-selected ten (10) quotes for this Competition. To take part, visit www.xapobank.com/en/avfc  partnerships page, select your favourite quote from the ten (10) quotes displayed and complete the submission form by providing your first name, last name and email address.

5.2. After submission, you will receive an on-screen confirmation and a confirmation email verifying that your vote has been received.

6. Quote Selection 

6.1. The four (4) quotes receiving the highest number of valid votes during the Entry Period will be selected for display (“Selected Quotes”). Selection is determined solely by the number of valid votes cast. No individual Participant is a winner by reason of the quote they voted for. 

6.2. The four (4) Selected Quotes will be embroidered on the Aston Villa dugout headrests at Villa Park and revealed at the Aston Villa Football Club v Crystal Palace fixture on 5 December, 2026. Xapo Bank and Aston Villa Football Club reserve the right to vary this number or the reveal date if circumstances require.

6.3. The Selected Quotes may also appear on the giant screen and across digital and social content. No Participant name or initial will be displayed alongside the Selected Quotes on the headrests or any other campaign materials. 

7. Prize Draw 

7.1. Separately from the selection of the Selected Quotes, Xapo Bank will award two (2) prizes, each to a different Participant, as follows: (a) one (1) pair of VIP tickets, within the 82 Champions Club, to the Aston Villa Football Club v Crystal Palace fixture at Villa Park on 5 December, 2026 (the "Ticket Prize"); and (b) one (1) Aston Villa adidas Home Shirt for the 2026-27 season, signed by such members of the Aston Villa first-team men's squad as are available for signing at the relevant time (the "Shirt Prize", and together with the Ticket Prize, the "Prizes").

7.2. All Participants who cast at least one valid vote during the Entry Period are eligible to win either Prize, regardless of which quote they voted for.

7.3. The Prizes are not cumulative. Each Participant may win only one Prize. A Participant who is drawn as the winner of one Prize will not be eligible to also win the other Prize.

7.4. The winners of the two Prizes will be selected by random draw, run separately for each Prize but at the same time, from all eligible Participants. No personal information will be shared with any external party in conducting the draws. If a Participant is drawn as the winner of one Prize, that Participant will be removed from the pool of eligible entries before the winner of the other Prize is drawn.

7.5. Each winner will be notified by email and must confirm within twenty-four (24) hours that they accept their Prize (and, in the case of the Ticket Prize, that they are able to attend the fixture). If a winner does not respond within that period, or is unable to accept or attend (as applicable), that Prize will pass to the next Participant drawn for that Prize, who will have the same twenty-four (24) hour period to respond, and so on until the Prize is claimed.

7.6. Ticket Prize. There is no cash alternative and the Prize is non-transferable. The Prize comprises the VIP match tickets only. All other costs, including travel, transport, accommodation, meals and any incidental expenses, are the sole responsibility of the winner.

7.7. The award of the Prize and attendance at any match will be subject to the following additional terms

(a) If any of the winners are unable to attend the selected match (including where the match date and / or time is rescheduled), then Aston Villa is not liable to provide a replacement match or offer an alternative Prize to the winner(s) (though Aston Villa may, in its discretion, determine to do so).

(b) The match is scheduled to take place at Aston Villa’s Stadium at Villa Park, Birmingham, B6 6HE.

(c) The 82 Champions Club includes a welcome drink and a hot buffet. All additional food and drink is for the cost of the winner.

(d) The winners and their guests are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to and from each match.

(e) The Prize is personal to each winner and only permits each winner and their guests to attend the match. Guests may be under the age of 18, provided they do so with the consent of their guardian and are accompanied by a responsible adult who must be the winner.

(f) The match tickets will be in the designated ‘home supporter’ area of the Stadium. The winners and their guests must be either Aston Villa supporters or neutral supporters and must not be supporters of the opposition team. 

(g) The winners and their guests are not permitted to wear opposition colours or wear / carry branded merchandise of the opposition or any other football team. 

(h) Aston Villa reserves the right to refuse entry to and / or eject from the Stadium any person (winner or guest):

(h.i) who is at the time of the match, subject to a ban from attending Aston Villa events or otherwise subject to a football banning order (or similar sanction which would prevent them from attending a football match or other event at Villa Park) are not eligible to enter this Competition;

(h.ii) whose behaviour is not, in Aston Villa’s reasonable opinion, of the standard expected for persons attending a match;

(h.iii) who does not comply with these Terms and Conditions, the Match Ticket Conditions of Issue, the Ground Regulations or the additional requirements of use of any hospitality suites at Villa Park.

7.8 Shirt Prize. There is no cash alternative and the Shirt Prize is non-transferable. In addition, the following applies:

(a) Size: The Shirt Prize will be provided in whichever adult size is made available by Aston Villa Football Club or its kit supplier at the time of fulfilment. The size cannot be selected, requested or guaranteed by the winner.

(b) Signatures: Xapo Bank cannot guarantee the number of signatures on the Shirt Prize, or which specific members of the Aston Villa first-team men's squad will have signed it. The shirt will bear the signatures of such players as are available to sign at the relevant time, which may not include the full squad.

(c) Delivery timeline: Xapo Bank cannot guarantee a specific delivery date. Xapo Bank will use reasonable endeavours to dispatch the Shirt Prize to the winner no later than the end of the 2026-27 football season.

(d) Shipping destination: Xapo Bank will cover shipping costs and will arrange delivery of the Shirt Prize to the winner's address anywhere in the world, except where Xapo Bank is unable to arrange delivery to that address because it is located in a country or region subject to comprehensive trade sanctions or export control restrictions, or is otherwise not served by Xapo Bank's courier providers. If delivery cannot be arranged for these reasons, Xapo Bank will contact the winner to agree an alternative delivery address or, where this is not possible, may award a prize of equivalent value or select an alternative winner in accordance with clause 7.5.

7.9. Xapo Bank and Aston Villa Football Club reserve the right to invalidate any vote and to disqualify any Participant where they reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or that votes have been cast fraudulently or by automated means. 

7.10. Aston Villa Football Club retains full discretion over which quotes are displayed in the stadium or any other promotional material. 

7.11. Before releasing a Prize, Xapo Bank may require the winner to provide reasonable proof of identity, age and eligibility, including confirmation that they are not excluded from entry under clause 3.3. If a winner does not provide this within a reasonable time of being asked, or Xapo Bank reasonably determines that a winner is not eligible, the Prize will be forfeited and will be awarded to the next Participant in accordance with clause 7.5.

7.12. Winners are solely responsible for any tax liability arising from the acceptance or use of a Prize.

7.13. By accepting a Prize, the winner agrees that Xapo Bank and Aston Villa Football Club may identify them by first name and last initial, and may invite (but not require) their participation in reasonable publicity relating to the Competition, such as a photograph or short interview, in connection with the announcement of that Prize.

8. Data Protection 

8.1. By entering the Competition, you acknowledge that Xapo Bank, as data controller, will process your personal data (first name, last name, and email address) for the purposes of administering this Competition, including the prize draw, and contacting you if you win the Prize.

8.2. Xapo Bank may verify the authenticity of email addresses through confirmation links and will discard entries found to be invalid or fraudulent.

8.4. If you are selected as the winner of the Shirt Prize, Xapo Bank will additionally collect your postal delivery address in order to arrange delivery. In order to arrange this, we may need to share your name and postal address with third parties involved in the delivery process. This address data will be retained only for as long as necessary to complete delivery and resolve any related queries, and we will then delete it.

9. Marketing

9.1. At the point of entry, you will be given the option to consent to receiving marketing communications from Xapo Group (Xapo Bank Limited, Xapo Vasp Limited and any other company within the Xapo Group). This is entirely optional and will not affect your Competition entry or eligibility for the prize draw.

9.2. If you opt in, the Xapo Group will use your email address to send you promotional communications, offers, and updates about Xapo Group’s products and services, including banking, digital asset, and virtual asset provider (VASP) services. Your consent will remain valid for up to two (2) years, unless withdrawn earlier.

9.3. You may withdraw your consent at any time by using the “unsubscribe” link provided in any marketing email, or by contacting the Data Protection Officer at [email protected].

10. General

10.1. Xapo Bank reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the Competition if circumstances beyond its control make this necessary. 

10.2. Xapo Bank shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in the Competition, entry into the prize draw or acceptance or use of the Prize. 

10.3. These Terms are governed by the laws of Gibraltar and the courts of Gibraltar shall have exclusive jurisdiction. 

SHARE YOUR BELIEF COMPETITION - FAIR PROCESSING NOTICE

This notice is provided pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation as retained in Gibraltar law (“Gibraltar GDPR”) and, where applicable, the UK General Data Protection Regulation (“UK GDPR”). It supplements Xapo Bank’s general Privacy Notice available at https://legal.xapobank.com/privacy/privacy-policy. It explains how we will process your personal data, specifically in connection with the Share Your Belief Competition.

3. Personal data we collect

3.1. In connection with this Competition, we collect the following categories of personal data:

(a) Identity data: your first name, last name, and email address.

(b) Voting data: the quote you selected from the ten options presented.

(c) Technical data: data collected automatically when you visit the Competition webpage (e.g. IP address, browser type), as described in our general Privacy Notice.

4. Purposes and lawful basis

5. Recipients of your personal data

5.1. Your personal data will not be shared with any third party for their own purposes. We will not publish your name or any other personal data alongside the Selected Quotes or in any campaign materials. We may use internal service providers (e.g. email delivery platforms) who are bound by data processing agreements and act only on our instructions.

5.2. Where you have opted in to receive marketing communications, your email address may be shared within the Xapo Group — specifically with Xapo VASP Limited and any other Xapo Holdings Limited group company — so that they may send you marketing about their own products and services. Each Xapo Group company that sends you marketing acts as an independent data controller for that activity.

6. International transfers

6.1. Xapo Bank is established in Gibraltar. If you are based in the United Kingdom, your personal data will be transferred to Gibraltar. Gibraltar benefits from a UK adequacy regulation under the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and is regarded as providing an adequate level of data protection. We will ensure that any transfer of your personal data is carried out in compliance with applicable data protection law.

7. Retention period

7.1. Competition data: Your personal data collected for the purpose of administering the Competition will be deleted or anonymised within one (1) month after the Competition ends (i.e. after the prizes have been awarded and any verification period has concluded), unless retention is required by law.

7.2. Marketing data: If you have opted in to receive marketing communications, we will retain your email address for this purpose for up to two (2) years from the date of consent, unless you withdraw consent earlier or we determine that it is no longer appropriate to retain it.

8. Your rights

8.1. Under the Gibraltar GDPR and (where applicable) the UK GDPR, you have the right to:

(a) access your personal data;

(b) rectify inaccurate data;

(c) request erasure of your personal data;

(d) restrict processing;

(e) data portability;

(f) object to processing based on legitimate interests;

(g) withdraw consent at any time (where consent is the lawful basis).

10. Applicable law

10.1. This notice and the processing described herein are governed by the Gibraltar GDPR and the Gibraltar Data Protection Act 2004. To the extent that UK GDPR applies to you as a data subject located in the United Kingdom, we will also comply with the requirements of the UK GDPR and the UK Data Protection Act 2018.
